Scripture Lesson                                                Mark 9:2-9

Sermon               “Mystical Hope”                      Dr. Keith Ray

Thoughts to ponder:  The story of the Transfiguration of Jesus reveals the so-called “mystical nature” of Jesus.  Yet it comes just six days after Jesus announced that suffering was a part of his ministry.  I wonder how we, in a period of great suffering,

can claim some mystical hope for our future.

Let’s consider it in worship.
